These pictures are not the best as my
camera wasn't the greatest when I took
them, yet they are wonderful pictures of a
chick hatching. ENJOY!!
This is my chick named Isaac.

This is my chick named Nephi.
(Of course named after me).
   Nephi
This is one incubator that our father
made.  The chick eggs went inside
here for lock-down.  This is about 3 or
4 days of not opening the incubator or
turning the eggs
The eggs are in "Lock-down".  You can
see some eggs through the window.
Here is a chick that  hatched and has
been dried for awhile.
The hole is getting bigger as the chick
is pipping it
This is one we purchased at the store.
We hatched ducks in this one.
This is a calendar we made showing
the different stages of the embryo and
also good and bad eggs that have
been candled.  We also had a
calendar this size and wrote the days
the eggs have been incubating and
when to candle, close down the
incubator and when eggs should hatch.
We are looking at the back egg with a
hole in it.  This egg is the one we will
be watching as it hatches.
The chick inside has pipped around
the whole egg.  It now needs to push
the egg apart.  Here is another one
that hatched right beside it.
The chick is almost out.  Such hard
work they have to do.
Here a chick is laying on top of the one
who is trying to get out of it's shell.
The chick is almost out.  It just needs
to get the shell off it's head and get the
rest of his body out of the shell.
Hard work is worth the pay.  He is
finally out and ready to relax before he
heads out to explore the world.
Out of all the eggs in the incubator.
We hatched 14 chicks.  Here they are
at 2 days old.  Cute huh!!
